More AT&T madness
I guess they wouldn’t want me to have an iPhone anyway.
When you give your hard earned money to a company in return for a “service”,
you in essence vote with your wallet to condone their policies, and ideologies.
why give a company like this any more money when they are so blantantly disrespecting your rights?

Rick Rubin - NY Times
Great article on Rick Rubin and his current quest to save Columbia.
Copowi
Copowi is an ISP that claims to guarantee net neutrality.
I recently moved out of Speakeasy range, and am quite happy with my new 10Mb down / 1Mb up cable connection through Charter, so I don’t think I’ll be able to support their cause just yet.
Either way, a company that makes a point to stand behind a worthy cause and even make it part of their business model should not be overlooked. I applaud them for at least making ethical standards both a feature and a product. They even give each user a copy of Ubuntu too.
Would I pay a company more for a service if I believed in their cause? Yes.
I’d love for a company like this to succeed, and prove that there’s money to be made in the promotion of good.

Has anyone heard from Richard Stallman?
He is supposed to be in Peru, near the earthquake area.
I heard that people are trying to get in touch with him to confirm he is ok.
Let’s hope he is safe and well.
UPDATE: Stallman is with the group in Trujillo and is OK.
What Do You Think?
Regardless of what you believe, do your own research.
You may be surprised.
Update: Here’s a NYTimes article that attempts to poke holes in many of Russo’s Income Tax related claims.
AT&T Censors Perl Jam Anti-Bush Lyrics
Are you putting the pieces together yet?
Feeling the love from your iPhone carrier?
Well, at least they’re listening to you.
Maybe this will make it more clear.
Yes, AT&T Really Is Spying On You.
As the iPhone endorphins begin to wear off, many of my Apple-following friends have asked me if the “AT&T spying thing” is real.
Well, don’t take my word for it. Maybe you’d rather believe PBS?
Or, you can just take AT&T’s word for it….I’m sure if they could tell you the truth, they would.
Are these the kind of people you want to give your hard earned money to?
